INTERact

INTERact is the term for all ERNI Electronics product families, which have a unique selling point, which can not be found in any comparable competitor connectors.

MicroStac 0.8 mm by ERNI

The MicroStac connector series has a hermaphroditic design. The connector and the mating connector are identical, and the typical subdivisions of male- and female-multipoint connectors are omitted. The relatively high contact force and a transfer mating reliability of 1.5 mm ensure a high level of dependability.

Plug-in modules are therefore designed for applications with a limited number of mating cycles. The design calls for fast, fully automatic SMT assembly.

MicroSpeed by ERNI

The MicroSpeed SMT miniaturized, modular connector system, with transfer rates of up to 20 Gbits/sec, was designed especially for telecommunications and data transmission devices. Board-toboard spacing of between 5 and 20 mm can be achieved using different heights. For differential data transmission several different signal-pair arrangements are possible. ERNI achieved exceptional signal integrity using a design which features two signal and two shield contact rows.

MiniBridge 1.27 mm by ERNI

The small design of the single-row cable connector system in a 1.27 mm pitch is ideal for space-saving connections between the printed circuit boards and decentral function units. Despite its very small dimensions, the miniature cable connector components offer a high current carrying capacity per contact of up to 8 A.

Pre-manufactured female multipoint connectors and cables together with the straight and angled male multipoint connectors available offer a number of mating possibilities for SMT connection technology. MiniBridge connectors are designed taking into account IEC 60838-2-2 but are not fully compliant.

SMC Small Multiple Connectors 1.27 mm by ERNI

The SMC line of versatile connectors offers different heights, vertical and right angle males and females, as well as a low profile design. The SMC connector offers high contact density for a small space requirement. A fully metal SMT bracket also absorbs high withdrawing and mating forces.

The combination of standard and low profile male and female connectors supports various board-to-board stacking heights (8.0 - 20.0 mm). In addition ERNI offer Board-on IDC cable connectors for direct cable assembly.

Pressfit Male Connectors by ERNI

The pressfit versions of the SMC male connectors are ideal for transfering I/O signals on the rear side of a backplane.

Board-to-Board Adaptor by ERNI

The new SMC Board-to-Board Adaptor is an exciting addition to the extensive SMC 1.27 mm pitch connector line, offering impressive flexibility in its board-to-board heights ranging from 20 to 40 mm in 2 mm increments.

The SMC adaptor has male contacts on both component ends, and securely locks into a female SMC connector for a robust assembled solution.

MaxiBridge 2.54 mm by ERNI

The 2.54 mm single row cable connector system is ideally suited for high reliable and space saving connections between PCBs and decentral units, e.g. lamps or info-panels, front plate elements like buttons, switches, fuses or LEDs, motors, fans etc.

The system is extremely versatile thanks to the availability of straight and angled male multipoint connectors in SMT technology. The pre-manufactured cable connector is mechanically coded with the male multipoint connector and protected against accidental release, as a result of vibration for example. It can be unlocked without using any additional tools.

The single row cable connector components offer a high current carrying capacity per contact of up to 12 A.

Last-Time-Buy date (LTB date).

The mentioned items are set to obsolete after the last serial production,
the LTB date represents the last, possible order day!

All orders received by the LTB date will be reviewed for feasibility and
confirmed by ERNI with an estimated ship date.

EVE GmbH is proud to have successfully cooperated with ERNI for more than 20 years now.

We will continue to perform the task as ERNI distributor in its usual strength and quality. EVE GmbH will continue to have access to the entire ERNI Electronics product range.

We have an appropriate ERNI warehouse at our disposal and offer secured forward orders and blanket orders with safety stock.

1. Small Multiple Connectors (SMC) for economical SMT manucfaturing

The double-row SMC connector family with pitch 1.27 mm is compact, safe and relieable. The connectors have a high signal integrity and withstand high current.

The contact tulip is twisted by 90 degrees, making these connectors unique
Whereas many manufacturers mate the male connectors on the rough stamped side, which minimises the current capacity and the number of mating cycles, ERNI also stamps the contacts, but twists the contact tulip by 90 degrees. This permits mating on the smooth rolled surface, thus ensuring reliable contact making and high current capacity. This technique is highly sophisticated regarding the stamping technology, but has been perfected by ERNI for years.

2. DIN 41612 male and female connectors - proven for decades

The connector family according to DIN 41612 consists of 13 basic types and many standard supplementary versions. It has been developed for use in surface-mounting systems to DIN 41494 (19" technology). The many designs and the rational connection techniques have enabled these connectors to be installed in a wide variety of applications.

In the last weeks and months ERNI was able to optimize the delivery times for the series M8/M12, MaxiBridge, SMC, ERmet and DIN41612 again and again.

This has led to significant reductions in delivery times, which makes your planning and procurement easier.

The optimisation of delivery times results from increasing capacities in production, relocation to further plants in Thailand or also from the independent work of some new employees in the production area.

In addition, ERNI is currently working very acutely on a restructuring of production, which will also produce further positive effects.

This year ERNI is presenting a new series of M12 connectors with 12 and 17 poles.

Over the last three decades, the M8/M12 connector system has established itself as that preferred device connection for use in rough environments which require a reliable, robust coupling solution.

With various pin counts and a number of cable types, plug configurations and plug codings, the M8/M12 connector covers a wide spectrum of requirements.

ERNI Electronics is now expanding its already extensive portfolio to include versions with higher pin counts.
