The STX Mounting Rail Outlets utilizing STEADYTEC® technology are available in a wide variety of applications (RJ45, USB coupler, fiber optic adaptors). The use of freely selectable modules which can be easily inserted into the housings provides a high level of flexibility in both component selection as well as in areas of application.

The Variants designed for fully-screened RJ45 jacks Cat.6A and RJ45 Couplers Cat.6 Class EA are equipped with a functional earth which can be switched on/off during operation. This simplifies fault analyses in the grounding concept while also separating the potentials between the network and the control cabinet.

For the installation of data networks as per IEC 61918, IEC 61784-5 and PROFINET system guide, Telegärtner recommends for harsh environments the Push-Pull connector of Variant 14 acc. to IEC 61076-3-117. Moreover this connector series is compliant to the requirements of AIDA (Automation Initiative of the German Automotive Industry) guaranteeing protection class IP67.

Components for Field Cabling / RJ45 Connectors IP20 by Telegärtner

The RJ45 connectors acc. to ISO/IEC 60603-7-5 are available in two designs. The 8-way Cat.6 connector for stranded wire cables AWG22-26 or solid wire cables AWG22-26 can easily be assembled on-site without any special tools. The maximum cable diameter is 8.5 mm. The connector features the EIA/TIA A, B and Profinet coding and a 360° shielding connection. The small and robust zinc diecast housing can also ge supplemented with a colour coding. The 8-way Cat.6 connector for stranded wire cables AWG24-27 and solid wire cables AWG24-27 completes the product line. Assembled with a crimp tool it offers shield connection and a wire presorting for easy handling, too. The strain relief pressure is thereby absorbed by the cable jacket. This avoids deformation of wires. Retrofit, 2-part cable boots in different colours are available additionally. Both connectors are capable for use in patch panels, switches, etc. Suitable crimp tools for professional application round-off the product range.
