Widely used in the media landscape and intended as the successor to the Full HD format, Ultra HD technology (UHD) sets new standards in terms of picture quality. With four times the resolution and frequency, the new format is supposed to offer a razor-sharp image as well as greater color depth.
 
The big challenge on the technical side is to adapt the infrastructure to the transmission of high data volumes and over long distances.
 
Telegärtner's UHD-BNC connector was specially developed for 4k/8k applications with UHD cables from leading manufacturers. Thanks to the design optimized for high frequencies, particularly good return loss values of min. -22dB @12 GHz could be achieved.
 
The connector is capable of transmitting higher data rates of up to 24 Gb/s at 12 GHz. Thanks to the excellent electrical transmission properties, cable lengths of over 100 m are possible.

With the AMJ-S module, Telegärtner presents the next evolutionary stage of Cat.6A connection components for structured building cabling.

The fully shielded AMJ-S module for 10 Gigabit Ethernet is based on the transmission advantages of Telegärtner's millionfold proven connection technology and offers cabling professionals unimagined possibilities for their daily cabling tasks. The outstanding feature of the AMJ-S module is its slim design in keystone format (19.3 x 14.7 mm) with die-cast zinc housing. In combination with the integrated fine-step cable clamp and the 360° shield connection, the AMJ-S module is a real time-saver during installation.

The IDC cutting terminal in the new AMJ-S module guarantees reliable contacting with conductor cross-sections of AWG26/1 - AWG22/1 for solid wire and AWG27/7 - AWG22/7 for stranded conductors.

Another special feature of the AMJ-S module is its design capability: the AMJ-S module can be easily combined with covers from the switch ranges of all well-known manufacturers.

The Telegärtner Connector Saver are screwed onto the original port, which therefore does not wear out even with frequent use. The Connector Saver can be can be replaced quickly and cost-effectively.

The MFP8-SL RJ45 connector is characterized by a very short installation length of just 44 mm. The finely graduated cable clamp accommodates cables with an outer diameter of up to 9 mm. Barbs in the cable fixing increase the strain relief. The pre-assembled protective cap provides effective protection for the contacts against dirt and transport damage, even during cable assembly.
 
The standardized mating face in accordance with EN 60603-7-51, the robust die-cast zinc housing with a tempered surface to protect against external electrical interference and 360° shielding for reliable data transmission even in the event of electrical interference make this connector flexible to use.
 
The IPC piercing contacts are suitable for conductor cross-sections AWG 27/7 - 22/7; AWG 26/1 - 22/1; AWG 26/19 - 24/19. The 4-chamber wire management is available with color coding according to T568A, T568B and PROFINET.
