Since 1947, WEICON GmbH & Co. KG has been producing speciality products for the industry in Germany. The range of products includes special adhesives and sealants, technical sprays and high-performance assembly pastes and greases for all areas of industry - from production over repair up to maintenance. Another field of activity is the development, sales and distribution of stripping tools.

  1. 29.05.2020 - Precise and compact

    With the new Precision Wire Stripper S, WEICON presents a semi-automatic stripper for fast and safe stripping of finest conductors, strands or wires with small diameters in the range of 0.16 mm - 0.8 mm (34 - 20 AWG).  

    The tool, which was awarded the reddot award 2020, has an adjustable scaled length stop in the working range from 5 to 45 millimetres. This allows the desired stripping length to be set quickly and reliably.  Two long-life, precisely adjusted torsion springs, which act symmetrically on the pair of blades with a defined force and automatically cut the respective insulation with the appropriate pressure. In conjunction with the scanning system integrated in the tool, this ensures damage-free stripping. The pliers are suitable for both right- and left-handed users.

  2. 21.02.2020 - For the sake of the environment: cardboard instead of plastic

    The tool manufacturer Weicon from Münster is one of the first companies to successively change the sales packaging of its tools from plastic blisters to cardboard.

    By using recyclable materials, Weicon underlines its claim to sustainable production. The switch to cardboard saves approximately six tons of plastic per year.

    The changeover of packaging will take place during the ongoing process and therefore requires some time.
