MagJacks® Integrated Connector Modules (ICMs) - as they are called at Bel Magnetic Solutions - are a combination of network transformers with RJ45 sockets or USB sockets.

The highly integrated modules offer signal processing, suppression of electromagnetic interference and signal isolation in addition to the socket functionality, which previously could only be realized by several discrete transformer components.

They are used for:

• 10/100 BT AutoMDIX
• 1 GBT (10/100/1000 BT)
• 2.5 GBT, 5 GBT and 10 GBT
• PoE, 30 watts, 60 watts and 100 watts
• High temperature range from -40 °C to 85 °C
• High soldering temperature up to 260 °C for 10 seconds

Each MagJack® socket used effectively reduces the space required on the PCB by more than 50% per RJ45 connection.

MagJack® ICMs quickly developed into a comprehensive product line of single solutions and multiport solutions. These products also feature a variety of innovative housing designs.
