PURtronic-UL-Flex/FRNC was designed primarily for use in measurement, signalling and control technology.

Thanks to the robust PUR jacket and the flexible design, the cables are suitable for all applications with high mechanical stress and high requirements to mobility, e.g. in automation or in tool and machine construction. The mPPE core insulation also guarantees very good soldering behaviour.

A special trump card of PURtronic-UL-Flex/FRNC is its fire behaviour: Core insulation and cable sheathing are made of FRNC materials (flame retardant - non-corrosive), which also meet high requirements for fire behaviour and the formation of corrosive gases.

So have the cables not only passed the flame test VW-1 (UL) and the fire test according to IEC 60332-1-2 A. The flame test according to ECE R118 was also successfully completed, so that PURtronic UL Flex/FRNC cables are ideally suited for use in motor vehicles, especially buses.

The cables have UL AWM 21223 (80°C 600V) approval for the external connection of electronic devices and are suitable for use both indoors and outdoors thanks to their UV and weather-resistant jacket.

Availables are cables in the dimension AWG 26 (~0.14 qmm) with 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 cores in a shielded and an unshielded version. The shielded version has a copper twist shield, which offers the highest possible shielding with a high degree of flexibility.

With cross-sections from 28AWG to 20AWG and numbers of poles from 2-pole to 10-pole, a wide range of variants is available for a wide variety of applications. The extended temperature range of -30°C to +105°C (stationary) and -15°C to +105°C (moving) also allows use in thermally demanding environments.

With the new UL-LifYY miniature control cable, Kabeltronik introduces a particularly flexible cable for miniature devices, medical technology, alarm and signaling systems.
 
With versions from 2-pole to 8-pole in a core cross-section of 0.08 qmm, suitable types are available for various applications. The strand construction of 40 x 0.05 mm ensures increased flexibility.

The cables are UL-approved according to Style 2936 and flame-retardant according to UL-VW1.
 
The temperature range of -30°C to +80°C (stationary) and -10°C to +80°C (moving) is wide enough to allow application in more demanding environments.

Kabeltronik, the specialist for high-quality cables, enables future-oriented networking with new cables according to the Single-Pair-Ethernet-Standard (SPE) in the Industry 4.0 environment.

The "ETHERtronic PURFlex Single Pair Ethernet" cables are particularly suitable for robust and flexible connections of sensors and actuators in mechanical and plant engineering.

Also where cables are permanently moved and stressed, ETHERtronic PURFlex can be used. This makes them one of the first SPE cables suitable for drag chains on the market.
 
While common Ethernet or fieldbus cables have so far generally required four wire pairs for data transmission, SPE technology does the same job with only a single pair of wires.

The advantages are obvious:
reduced weight and less installation work.  Thanks to the small cable diameter, up to four times as many devices can be connected per SPE in the same installation space as with conventional four-pair cables. This makes SPE an ideal solution, for example, where many sensors are installed in a very small space.
 
The reduced bandwidth of the single-pair cables is completely sufficient for most applications in the Industry 4.0 environment. Simultaneous transmission of data and power (up to 50 W) over one line (Power over Data Lines = PoDL) is also possible. In this way, sensors can be supplied with power, for example.
 
Thanks to their advantages, kabeltronik's "ETHERtronic PURFlex Single Pair Ethernet" cables are also suitable for use in building technology, automation and automotive engineering.
