  1. 05.08.2024 - Particularly flexible:The UL-LifYY miniature control cables

    With the UL-LifYY miniature control cable, Kabeltronik offers a particularly flexible cable for miniature devices, medical technology, alarm and signaling systems.
     
    With versions from 2-pole to 8-pole in a core cross-section of 0.08 qmm, suitable types are available for various applications. The strand construction of 40 x 0.05 mm ensures increased flexibility.

    The cables are UL-approved according to Style 2936 and flame-retardant according to UL-VW1.
     
    The temperature range of -30°C to +80°C (stationary) and -10°C to +80°C (moving) is wide enough to allow application in more demanding environments.

  2. 24.04.2023 - Flame retardant according to ECE R118: PURtronic-UL-Flex/FRNC control cable

    PURtronic-UL-Flex/FRNC was designed primarily for use in measurement, signalling and control technology.

    Thanks to the robust PUR jacket and the flexible design, the cables are suitable for all applications with high mechanical stress and high requirements to mobility, e.g. in automation or in tool and machine construction. The mPPE core insulation also guarantees very good soldering behaviour.

    A special trump card of PURtronic-UL-Flex/FRNC is its fire behaviour: Core insulation and cable sheathing are made of FRNC materials (flame retardant - non-corrosive), which also meet high requirements for fire behaviour and the formation of corrosive gases.

    So have the cables not only passed the flame test VW-1 (UL) and the fire test according to IEC 60332-1-2 A. The flame test according to ECE R118 was also successfully completed, so that PURtronic UL Flex/FRNC cables are ideally suited for use in motor vehicles, especially buses.

    The cables have UL AWM 21223 (80°C 600V) approval for the external connection of electronic devices and are suitable for use both indoors and outdoors thanks to their UV and weather-resistant jacket.

    Availables are cables in the dimension AWG 26 (~0.14 qmm) with 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 cores in a shielded and an unshielded version. The shielded version has a copper twist shield, which offers the highest possible shielding with a high degree of flexibility.
