Diodes

Diodes are able to block or pass currents depending on their orientation and are implemented in many electronic circuits and variants. A common field of application is for example the rectification of alternating currents. Diodes contain a semiconductor p-n junction or a metal-semiconductor junction, the so-called Schottky-contact. Alongside semiconductors for rectifying currents we offer Zener diodes which can operate continuously within their breakdown voltage and can be used for limiting voltage.
