Varistors

Varistors are voltage dependent resistors, the resistance of which decreases abruptly when reaching a pre-defined threshold voltage. Common applications include overvoltage protection and prevention of damage to sensitive electronic circuitry. In our shop we offer a wide range of various varistors manufactured by JOYIN, which are equipped with THR terminals and are suited for through-hole mounting. Orientation of the varistors is radial and, depending on their intended use, they are available for highly diverse operating voltages, ranging from components for 14 VDC to 200 VDC up to 745 VDC. Oprating temperatures are within -40 to +85 degrees celsius and response time is under 25 nanoseconds with power ratings ranging from 10 to 1.000 milliwatts.
